McGuire’s Buildings was established by Howard McGuire on the family dairy farm in Pine Mountain in December of 1969. Five years later Howard moved the business to Columbus. His son Paul, while a senior in high school, started working full time in the business as part of the student work program and on Saturdays. Paul, who has been working in the portable building business ever since, still enjoys the business and meeting new people.
